I would recommend anyone looking a shop for routine maintenance or repairs. The guys have all the knowledge and skills needed for all types of vehicles. I work in the area and live in Westchester with an eighty mile round trip daily. I also send the service vans from my job to them. They are competitively priced, and stand behind their work. They keep computer records of all services they provide, this is nice because keeping all the information about your vehicles in your head can be confusing to say the least. So whether you have one of more vehicles, do yourself a favor and give them a try. They are open on Saturdays too. |

I went to Andy's one morning representing a company who recently moved into the area, with one of our vehicles that was in need of servicing brakes, oil change, and just a regular checking up of the entire vehicle. They took it right in, I walked back to our shop. Within 45 minutes I received via an email estimate itemizing what was identified as having issues. I spoke with Dino, and he described that not all items were critical and could be planned for the not to far off future. With that said, I approved the items that needed to be done, and got the vehicle back ready for business that evening. I feel confident that our company has found a new home, for the servicing of our fleet!! |

I came to Andy service station for state inspection last week....I met a very nice gentlemen named Dino that told me it would be a coup[e hours wait which was fine since I didnt have an appointment.So I left did a few things came back later with the car ...Very happy that when I came back true to his word I went right in ,not only did they inspect one of my cars they inspected both....For this I would have given 5 stars however I gave four stars because there was a fuse blown and they found and changed the fuse and charged me 25 dollars plus tax which I felt was high since I have purchased a whole pack of fuses for about 5 bucks at auto stores so this lead me to think this station might be on the expensive side thats why its not rated higher by me...Other than that I was extremely pleased and satisfied with there work.... |

Just needed a quick nystate inspection because my car was due......Dino the gentlemen at the counter was extremley nice and up front about the hour wait because i didnt have an appointment....After a brief time my car was taken in work done and that was all....The only thing i would mention is the fact my car needed a small fuse and i was charged 30.00 dollar to locate and replace that fuse which i thought was a little expensive....I would have given a higher grade but because of the fuse charge i wont because it makes me think this shop might be on the high side when it comes to larger jobs then a minor 3 dollar fuse.... |

I took my truck which has 63k miles and ran fine in to just get inspected and upon pick up so told by Dino they tried to get the oil filter off for some strange reason and I needed to bring it back because it was damaged. Trouble was first I never ask for an oil change, no the oil was drained, the filter punctured and the next time I drove the truck it stalled, wouldn't start for 15 minutes, when it did it made all kinds of noises. My 2 neighbors came over when I got home and discovered the lack of oil, damaged filter and told me to get it back to the station asap. Dino called me after inspection told me the engine was blown and would either put it in for a claim or pay for a new engine himself. Today I received a call from the INS adjuster who told me the claim was denied based on speaking to the station who stated they did nothing to the truck wrong and I had no evidence to prove it. I called Dino who said he was sorry but that's just they way these things go. So now I'm out of transportation, and instead of stepping up and doing the right thing I hope this sends a strong statement to the small West Hempstead community to beware of the risks when doing business at ANDY"S WOODFEILD SERVICE STATION |
